Roberta Faceplant
BIO:
Katie Feeney, the lead vocalist and songwriter for the Philly-based Outlaw Americana band Roberta Faceplant, is a honky tonk hurricane with a voice that blends the raw, rock n’ roll grit of Janis Joplin with the whimsical, western smoothness of Patsy Cline.
Staffed by a gang of mischievous musical veterans, Roberta Faceplant’s live show is high-energy roadhouse joy infused with a rebellious spirit that'll keep you on the dance floor all night. The sound has captivated audiences in the Northeast Corridor with elements of southern rock, old school country, rockabilly, and the blues blending perfectly into a melting pot of killer melodies, memorable riffs, and playful storytelling. It’s country, but you can hear the city.
Roberta Faceplant’s unique sound has already garnered international press and radio play on KEXP, WXPN, KLKT, KOOP, Nola County Radio, Post To Wire, Lonesome Highway and more. The band just released their debut EP, Yee Haw Stuff, on July 26, 2024 and is working on a follow up slated for early 2025.
